The Femme Den
An artistic she-cave emerged from the basement of this Brooklyn townhouse. We decluttered and preserved select pieces, focusing on color and eclectic creativity. To create the illusion of a higher ceiling and a lighter space, a faux-crown molding effect was achieved by dropping the ceiling paint line. Custom shelving and a pegboard were installed to maximize storage efficiency, functionality, and aesthetics.
“Our guest bedroom/home office/workout room became a storage place for all our old furniture. I hated it in there. Thanks to Corey, it’s now the perfect expression of me. Imagine a chartreuse velvet sofa, black and white checked carpeting, and soft purple walls. Super feminine. I love, love, love this space. We call it ‘The Femme Den.’ Collaborating with Corey was a creatively empowering experience. She’s so versatile that she also redesigned my 7,000-square-foot corporate office space. Corey managed to please all the stakeholders with her problem-solving skills and fresh ideas.”
